What is Appnexus ?

There is the Appnexus DSP (Demand Side Platform) referred to as the AppNexus Programmable Platform and the Appnexus SSP (Supply Side Platform) which allows publishers to sell their inventory programmatically. Both DSP and SSP as our Ad Exchange.

Appnexus was founded in 2007 by CEO Brian O’Kelly and is Headquartered in NYC and has over 20 offices around the globe including, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Singapore, Tokyo and Sao Paulo.

In 2018, Appnexus was acquired by AT&T and is part of Xandr.

AppNexus operates the world’s largest independent programmatic marketplace, where roughly 90 percent of addressable comScore 200 publishers and 100 percent of Ad Age 100 advertisers transact daily.
