Gourmet Ads was founded in 2008 with the mission of helping Food, Supermarket and Wine brands the ability to reach highly engaged and conscious consumers online. It was the first Ad Network 100% committed to the food and wine verticals.
It was started by our President, Benjamin Christie who at the time was a professional chef and passionate food blogger. He wanted to create a company they did two things;
- Create a platform that made it easy to enabled food and wine website owners around the world to monetize their websites while enabling them to create great content.
- Provide brands and their advertising agencies a “one stop shop” where they can activate and reach grocery buyers, household cooks and wine enthusiasts.
Since then, Gourmet Ads has grown from strength to strength.
With worldwide publisher reach and operations in both the United States and Australia, Gourmet Ads offers a global perspective, allow brands to target audiences wherever they are around the world.
The Gourmet Ads publishing team directly manages thousands of quality food and wine publishers using our own proprietary ad serving technology, whilst being integrated on Appnexus infrastructure and with major SSPs.
In 2016, Gourmet Ads acquired the Healthy Ads business and has continued to grow Healthy Ads to one of the largest health focused audiences in world offering a range of targetable health-based audiences at scale either on a direct / guaranteed basis or programmatically via PMPs or Deal IDs.
