Sales Rep (Programmatic & Direct) – NYC

Gourmet Ads is seeking an experienced Sales Representative with an established record of sales success and revenue generation to join the team in New York.

Built upon the Appnexus Platform, Gourmet Ads is a young, vibrant and rapidly growing media company, which dominates the food vertical across four revenue areas of Display, Mobile, Video and Data.

In this role, you will oversee our agency direct as well as programmatic Advertising Sales efforts in NYC as well as other possible US cities. We are seeking an individual who not only loves food, but someone who brings their own book of business as well as a rolodex of both client direct and advertising agencies. You must have excellent presentation and pitching skills, be detail oriented and be able to work closely with a team of Account Managers and Sales Planners. You should be confident without being arrogant, and hardworking while still knowing how to have fun.

This role will report directly to Alec Greenberg, COO, a respected industry veteran who has helped define the Programmatic Media Industry.

With a deep knowledge of Programmatic, Brand Direct and Traditional Digital Agency Sales you have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our Sales and Marketing Strategy, Team and Product offering to build global revenue.

It is the responsibility of our publisher development team to make certain you have the very best quality inventory to sell. Currently, with over 2,000 directly managed publishers, all producing excellent food and cooking content it’s an easy sell. Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Contributing to the Development and Execution of the Gourmet Advertising Sales Strategy
  • Helping to Grow and Develop the Global Sales Team of Programmatic & Direct Sellers
  • Take charge of Pipeline Management
  • Total Salesforce CRM Management from Prospect to Account
  • Identify Opportunities from our existing Programmatic, Agency and Direct Buyers
  • Establish Agency Trading Agreements with Key Partners for sustained growth
  • Ongoing Development of our Programmatic Offering (i.e. Packages, Deals, Private Exchanges, Programmatic Direct)

Essential Skills

  • Successful track record as a member of a Global Digital Sales Team
  • Proven experience in Scaling Revenues
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Programmatic Landscape ie SSPs, DSPs, DMPs
  • Basic understanding of ad serving or ad management, terminology, and platforms
  • Deep and extensive Industry Relationships (DSPs & Digital Agencies)
  • Experienced in Salesforce or other CRM software
